Q1: What is the typical responding time of Hangzhi high precision current transducer and AC / DC tester products?
AIT Series real-time response is 100A/us, and;
DIT series, the standard modes with response time of 200ms, and minimum time of 10ms can be customized, and,
HIU Series Tester with response time of 300ms, response time is customizable
Q2: Does Hangzhi’s high precision current transducer with current output or voltage output?
AIT series current sensor: both current and voltage output products are available
DIT Series sensors are digital output via RS232/485.
IIT series: only current output available
HIT series: only current output available
RIT Series: voltage output

Q3: If the voltage output type is required, what's the solution?
If the input requirement in the instrument side is voltage input, the current transducer can be configured for voltage output with external or built-in precision resistance.
Q3.1: Does customization to voltage output affect the accuracy?
Except the accuracy of the high precision current transducer itself, the system overall accuracy is also affected by the precision of the select
resistance and by its temperature drift.
Q4: What is the power supply required for Hangzhi’s high precision current transducer?
Most current transducer products need to be supplied with +/-15V, but it varies in some current transducers used for measuring larger current, so the technical specification should be carefully followed before design or configure for your application.
Q5: How to calculate the power consumption of Hangzhi’s current transducer?
The power consumption of the high transducer current transducer includes output consumption and standby consumption.
Take AIT60 as the example:
The output consumption: 0.1A x 15v=1.5W
The typical standby consumption current is about 0.03A, so the output consumption: 0.03 x 15V = 0.45W, and the total consumptions is 1.95W.
The consumption of other current transducer products can be calculated by using the same concept above according to their specification.
Q6: How are the aperture sizes of Hangzhi’s current transducer products? Is the customization available?
Currently, the aperture of standard current sensors is 26mm, 42mm and 90mm depending on the measuring range of the current transducers. But the customization is also available to adapt your applications, please CONTACT US for details.
Q7: Do Hangzhi current measurement products come with the third party test report?
All Hangzhi products come with only our internal quality certificates by default, but the third party test report is available at customer’s request and costs.
Q8: Do Hangzhi’s High-precision AC / DC testers need to be calibrated once a year?
In technical terms, the AC / DC tester products don’t require annual calibration. But the local regulations of customer’s region need to be followed.
Q9: Why the other brands of Hall sensors have phase errors and data acquisition noise in the process of measurement? Does Hangzhi current sensor have this phenomenon?
Due to the long response time, unfixed zero point and large temperature drift of Hall sensor, its measurement output is easily affected by temperature, so the accuracy of hall sensor is low.
Hangzhi’s high precision current transducer products are fluxgate principle sensors with real-time response, zero point fixed, almost zero temperature drift, high precision, so there are no such problems.
Q10: What test method is used to verify the accuracy of current sensor?
FLUKE 5522 Multi-Product Calibrator + FLUKE 8508A Reference Multimeter are used for internal quality control and test.
Externally, the third party calibration is through the Chinese Institute of Metrology.
Q11: Will the Hangzhi’s high precision current transducer be damaged after overload and satiation?
When the primary current is over the specified measurement range and the transducers will be in overload mode to avoid the damage to the sensor itself.
In this mode, the transducers will be working in non-zero flux mode, that the secondary current remains at specified maximum output, the secondary and primary currents are not in proportional.
Q12: If Hangzhi’s 10PPM high precision current sensor was chose to develop high precision instrument, how to choose the type of resistance?
According to the customers’ specific requirements of the developing high precision instruments, please pay attention to the temperature drift and precision of resistance.
Q13: For high precision current sensor and industrial-grade current sensor, if the instrument which requires the voltage input with 2V and AIT300 is select for the current measurement, how to select the resistance?
The turns ratio of AIT300 is 2000:1, then the full scale output current is 0.2 A, according to the principle of U = IR, then R = 2V / 0.2 A = 10 Ω, so you should have a resistance of 10 ohms.
At the same, we also need to make sure the select resistor is within the specified resistor range.
Q14: What are the parameters of high precision current sensor should be concerned in selection?
Indicators to be concerned are:

Q15: Compared with hall and closed loop hall sensor, what are the advantages of Hangzhi’s high precision current sensor / transducer?

Q16: What is the definition of RD and RG for AC/DC Tester?
RD is reading accuracy, while RG is full scale accuracy.
Q17: How to read the data of Hangzhi’s Digital Current Sensor / transducer? And how big the storage space?
Connect computer to read by Hangzhi upper computer software, the storage space is like the size of computer memory. In addition, the standard record interval is 100ms, and 100 points of 1-second record can be customized.
Q18: If DC-1000 and AC-1500A are required in test, what is the measurement value of Hangzhi’s DC sensor?
The specific calculation is AC 1500A x 1.414 = 2121A, so Hangzhi’s 3000A current sensor can be used.
Q19: Does Hangzhi’s current sensor and the AC / DC Tester have differential range? How to switch from high current to low current?
The Hangzhi’s high precision current transducer has no different range, and it can guarantee superior linearity by itself.
Hangzhi’s tester and standard meter was built-in range, automatic switch, no manual shift is required.
Q20: Is the accuracy of Hangzhi’s high precision current sensor full range accuracy or reading accuracy?
The accuracy of Hangzhi’s current sensor is reading accuracy from 10% to 100% full range.
