Evaluation of Power Conversion Efficiency of Wind Turbine Converters
During the operation of the wind turbine, its stator is directly connected to the power transmission network, and the rotor is incorporated into the power transmission network through the frequency converter. As long as the stator speed is constant, stable grid input power can be guaranteed. When the wind speed and wind speed change, the rotor will change the operating speed, which will inevitably interfere with the speed of the stator. The steady speed operation of the stator can be controlled by adjusting the AC and DC conditions and the frequency of the rotor excitation current. The current input status of the rotor can be controlled by the inverter at its subsequent stage. Generally, the frequency converter can adjust the frequency of the rotor input current so that the current input frequency of the stator can meet the current frequency of the current used, and at the same time, some interference currents in the input current can be cleared to control and protect the overvoltage phenomenon in the power grid system. Based on these operating principles of the frequency converter, the frequency converter has been widely used in wind turbines.
